After years of working with women in my practice and becoming a mom (twice over) I started the blog and podcast Momma Bites! (available on most podcast platforms) where I regularly interview experts in various fields of self-care including intuitive eating, mindfulness, yoga, complementary & alternative healing, sleep, sexual health, and many other areas.
Armed with their advice and my own personal and clinical experience, I wrote Self-care for New Moms: Thriving in Your Postpartum Year published by Skyhorse Publishing. My wish is this book be a voice of reason and calm in the chaos of new parenthood. In 2024, I was elated to learn that an audiobook version of my beloved project became available. Not just for first-time parents, I needed this book even more when I had my second kiddo. I've been told it's the best shower gift (and way more useful than the wipe warmer you just added to your registry.

sense from and OB/GYN who not only has gone there with her patients, is also frank about her own experience. Thank goodness for folks like Dr. Jen Gunter. Seriously, I took 24 pages of
notes.
