Pre-menstrual syndrome and pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder

             Premenstrual syndrome and pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder are frequently misunderstood problems.  Women suffering with these disorders report emotionally-related symptoms such as irritability, depression, food cravings, anger, and rapid mood swings.  Physical symptoms also associated include headache, water retention, weight gain, join and muscle pain, and breast tenderness.
